(L)-脱氢抗坏血酸(DHA)是一种强效糖化剂,由抗坏血酸(维生素)氧化制得。体外研究表明,对于晶状体蛋白糖化反应,DHA的活性远超葡萄糖和果糖。因此,DHA是晚期糖化终产物(AGE)体内形成的关键前体。

(L)-脱氢抗坏血酸可作为起始原料用于:
- 与2-甲羟基吲哚反应合成吡喃并[3,4-b]吲哚衍生物。
