DL-苹果酸(MA)可用于:
- 掺杂磷酸二氢铵(ADP)晶体以改善ADP晶体特性。
- 形成水溶性复合物Nb-MA,进一步与LiCl反应形成铌酸锂(LiNbO3)粉末。
- 作为单体与DL-乳酸合成聚(DL-乳酸-co-α,β-苹果酸)(PLMA)共聚物,经异硫氰酸荧光素(FITC)修饰后可涂覆磁性Fe3O4纳米颗粒,用作MRI T2型造影剂。
