一般描述
硫酸铁铵是一种浅绿色至蓝色的结晶粉末，易溶于水，但不溶于乙醇和丙酮。该盐在100°C熔化并开始分解。它是硫酸铁和硫酸铵的复盐，通过将等摩尔的硫酸铁(II)和硫酸铵溶解在水中并结晶产物来制备。
应用
六水硫酸铁铵可用于：
- 作为前体，合成在碳酸铋/ACF（纤维）上沉积的氧化铁纳米颗粒。该材料可用作废水处理的高效催化剂。
- 作为负极用于开发钒/铁氧化还原液流电池（V/Fe RFB）。
- 通过金属插入反应修饰甲基橙染料。修饰的染料可用作DSSC（染料敏化太阳能电池）中的光捕获剂。
- 作为掺杂剂用于通过溶胶凝胶法制备纳米二氧化钛催化剂。以（NH4）2Fe（SO4）2·6H2O 进行掺杂导致二氧化钛在可见光范围内光催化活化。
