一般描述
溴代乙酸乙酯常在有机合成中用作为烷化剂和酰化试剂。溴代乙酸乙酯与对叔丁基杯[4]芳烃进行衍生化反应，生成1,3-二酯取代的杯[4]芳烃。它还与芳基硼酸在氧化铜(I)共催化下发生Suzuki型交叉偶联反应。
应用
溴乙酸乙酯用于在水性介质中制备可逆光敏香豆素稳定的聚合物纳米颗粒，其可用作可检测的药物载体。
