一般描述
4-甲酰苯甲酸是对苯二甲酸合成中的重要中间体 。它与碳酸钡反应生成二维钡 (II) 配位聚合物 。
应用
在 2，2，6，6-四甲基-4-氧哌啶基-1-氧基的酯化过程中，使用 4-甲酰苯甲酸作为试剂，得到 4-羟基-2，2，6，6-四甲基哌啶-1-氧基 4-甲酰苯甲酸酯 。
它的醛基与胺基功能化硅胶的-NH2 缩合，也可作为试剂合成酸功能化介孔二氧化硅催化剂。
