应用
DIG Northern Starter Kit可制备与随附的化学发光检测试剂联用进行RNA印迹检测的DIG标记RNA探针。以线性化DNA为模板，利用SP6、T3或T7 RNA聚合酶将DIG-11-UTP整合到RNA转录物中。标记后，DIG-标记的探针即可用于杂交。为了方便起见，DIG Easy Hyb可用于杂交。直接向瓶中加入64 ml的DEPC处理（无RNase）水，即可轻松复溶DIG Easy Hyb（复溶的DIG Easy Hyb可在室温下稳定储存1个月）。杂交完成后,杂交液中包含DIG-标记的RNA探针，可保存于-15到-25°C，以备后续使用（最多可保存1年）。

灵敏度和特异性：采用1μg线性DNA模板，标记反应一般会在1小时内得到20μg新合成的DIG标记RNA。DIG-标记的RNA探针可以在斑点印迹中检测到0.1pg的同源DNA或RNA。可在0.1μg总RNA中检测到稀少的mRNA。
