Biotherapeutic characterization is a demanding process owing to the complexity of the biomolecule itself as well as the heterogeneity of the sample presented. This online seminar will delve into the orchestration of reference materials and HPLC columns, exploring nuanced methodologies to optimize precision in biopharmaceutical characterization. Unravel the complexities of selecting and manipulating reference materials for accurate calibration, while also mastering the art of leveraging HPLC columns to attain unparallel resolution in biotherapeutic analyses, including tips and tricks in peptide mapping, middle-up analysis, and in employing step-gradients. In addition, aspects involved in biosimilar analysis will be highlighted through application examples.
At the conclusion of the session, the audience member will:
- Understand key aspects in selecting reference materials and HPLC columns for biotherapeutic analysis.
- Be familiar with key method parameters to adjust when fine-tuning biotherapeutic chromatographic assays
- Gain an appreciation for the importance of highly characterized reference materials with adjacent information in developing chromatographic assays in biotherapeutic analysis.
