The Power of Small

The Smallest, Automated, High-Throughput Bioreactor Yet

Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor: 2 mL Automated, Single-use, Perfusion Cell Culture Platform

The pressure to reduce manufacturing costs is driving the need to improve process efficiency and flexibility, sparking further interest in perfusion technology. As with most processes, success is determined at the process development stage.

The Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor is a 2 mL automated, single-use, perfusion cell culture platform designed to support gentle, adaptable, and reproducible cell culture processes. The system is capable of accelerating a range of applications such as cell line development, media screening and optimization, and early process development.

We invite you to see the Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor in action. Your perfusion journey starts with a Demo!

A 2 mL Automated Perfusion Cell Culture Platform

  • Achieve high cell densities in a 2 mL perfusion process
  • Run more experiments in parallel for higher efficiency
  • Obtain high-quality perfusate on demand with reliable run-to-run performance
  • Reduce hands-on work with automated control and monitoring
  • Save on development time and costs through operational flexibility
  • Focus on your goals with easy setup and installation

Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor equipped with 4 pneumatic optical digital (POD) controllers.

Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor

A Complete Platform for Perfusion

Perfusion is becoming a typical approach to achieving upstream process intensification. The ability to scale down these processes, however, has been limited due to a lack of appropriate technologies. The Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor is designed to meet the needs of full control at a small working volume with high-throughput capabilities. The system is comprised of a single-use, 2 mL microbioreactor consumable, four microbioreactor controllers, utility and communication hardware, and a laptop embedded with control software.

Predict Perfusion Performance at Smaller Scales

The Mobius® Breez Microbioreactor allows you to increase efficiency and reduce development timelines and costs over traditional technologies that require more material consumption. You can now achieve high cell densities with integrated pH, DO, temperature and cell density control via OD, and predict the performance of traditional stirred tank reactors at a much smaller volume scale, saving you media and associated costs.
