General description

Resorufin is a fluorescent indicator.[1]

Application

Resorufin has been used to determine the cytochrome P450 (CYP) 2A5 coumarin 7-hydroxylase (COH) activity changes over a broad range of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) doses.[2] It has also been used as an internal standard for ethoxyresurufin-o-deethylase (EROD) analysis.[3]
