General description

Tiliroside is a glycosidic flavonoid isolated from Helichrysum italicum. It exhibits a variety of pharmacological properties such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticarcinogenic and hepatoprotective activity.

Application

Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
Tiliroside may be used as a reference standard in the separation and quantification of tiliroside from plant extracts using solid phase extraction (SPE) followed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC).

Packaging

Bottomless glass bottle. Contents are inside inserted fused cone.

On-line (HPLC-NMR) and off-line (HPLC, NMR and MS) methodologies were used to profile the constituents present in the crude extract of Lasiopetalum macrophyllum. On-flow and stop-flow HPLC-NMR supported the presence of trans-tiliroside and permitted partial identification of cis-tiliroside and 4'-methoxy-trans-tiliroside.
