Gene Information

human ... TGFB1(7040)

General description

Anti-TGF β1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total TGF β1 protein.
The TGF β1 (transforming growth factor β1) gene is mapped to human chromosome 19q13.2.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human TGF beta1.

Immunogen Range: 336-385

Application

Anti-TGF β1, C-Terminal antibody produced in rabbit has been used in immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis.

Biochem/physiol Actions

TGF β1 (transforming growth factor β1) mediates cell vitality, proliferation, epithelial–mesenchymal transition and promotes angiogenesis. TGF β1 controls the process of apoptosis, organ development and bone formation.
