General description
Anti-CARD10 antibody detects endogenous levels of total CARD10 protein.
CARD10 (caspase recruitment domain-containing protein 10) is an important BCL10 (B-cell CLL/lymphoma 10) interactor. It is a member of membrane-associated guanylate kinase family. It is mapped to human chromosome 22q13.1. The CARD10 protein has 1032 amino acids with an estimated molecular weight of 116 kDa. It consists of five putative functional domains, an N-terminal CARD domain, a central coiled-coil domain, and a C-terminal tripartite structure consisting of a PDZ (post synaptic density protein (PSD95), drosophila disc large tumor suppressor (Dlg1) and zonula occludens-1 protein) domain, an SH3 (SRC homology 3 domain) domain, and a GUK (guanylate kinases) domain with homology to guanylate kinase. In several adult tissues, including heart, kidney, and liver, it is expressed as a 4.4-kilobase transcript.

Biochem/physiol Actions
CARD10 (Caspase recruitment domain-containing protein 10) helps to arrange signaling complexes at plasma membrane. It also serves as a molecular scaffold for the assembly of a B-cell CLL/lymphoma 10 (BCL10) signaling complex that activates NF-κB (nuclear factor-κB).
