Gene Information
human ... CRHR1(1394)
General description
Anti-CRHR1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total CRHR1 protein.
CRHR1 (corticotropin releasing factor receptor 1) is a member of the G-protein-coupled receptor superfamily of brain-gut neuropeptides. It is highly expressed in the amygdala, hippocampus and frontal cortex. It has 13 exons and located on human chromosome 17q12-q22.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human CRHR1.
Immunogen Range: 75-124
Immunogen Range: 75-124
Application
Anti-CRHR1 antibody has been used in immunoprecipitation and western blotting.
Biochem/physiol Actions
CRHR1 (corticotropin releasing factor receptor 1) blocks the multiplication of endocrine-related cancer cell lines. It helps to initiate signal transduction pathways, that controls various functions like stress, reproduction, immune response and obesity.
