Application

Sodium chloride is suitable reagent for plant cell culture studies and insect cell culture studies. It is the suitable reagent used to prepare alkaline Congo red solution.[1] It may be employed in the basal medium for tobacco cell cultures to investigate the osmotic adjustment of NaCl-adapted and nonadapted cell lines.[2]
