General description

Organically stabilized cadmium sulfide quantum dots in toluene.
Kit contains six toluene solutions of CdS quantum dot nanocrystals with fluorescence emission maxima spanning UV-blue spectrum:
  • Lumidot CdS 380 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 360 nm
  • Lumidot CdS 400 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 380 nm
  • Lumidot CdS 420 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 400 nm
  • Lumidot CdS 440 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 420 nm
  • Lumidot CdS 460 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 440 nm
  • Lumidot CdS 480 5 ml, 5 mg/ml, 460 nm
Lumidot CdS 380-480 nanocrystals are surface-stabilized with oleic acid coating.
Typical nanocrystal sizes range from 1.6 nm (Lumidot CdS 380) to 7.3 nm (Lumidot CdS 480). The soft ligands increase hydrodynamic diameter of the nanocrystals by ~4.5-5 nm.
