General description

o-Toluidine undergoes chemically oxidative polymerization with aniline in the presence of ammonium persulfate as an oxidant in HCl medium.[1]

Application

o-Toluidine was used as a precursor in the synthesis of poly(o-toluidine) and copper nanoparticle composite material.[2]
