General description

Nafion NR50 is a perfluorosulfonic acid nafion resin that is majorly used as a strong solid acid (H0 -12) with high thermal stability and chemical resistance.

Application

Nafion NR50 can be used for a variety of applications such as:
  • a solid acid-catalyst in the synthesis of α-tocopherol
  • a catalyst for cellulose hydrolysis
  • a reference catalyst in the preparation of carbon-based solid acid catalysts
