General description

The degradation of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) using cadmium sulphide nanoparticles was studied[1].

Application

4-Nitrophenol (4-NP) can be used to prepare 4-aminophenol (4-AP), a key intermediate for the manufacture of analgesic and antipyretic drugs.[2][3][4]
