生化/生理作用

法尼基焦磷酸(FPP)是生物合成胆固醇、泛醌和多萜醇的前体。是细胞内甲羟戊酸途径的一部分。FPP是细胞存活所必需的物质,用于某些低分子质量G蛋白(含Ras)的异戊二烯化。抑制异戊二烯化可造成Ras蛋白丧失致癌潜能。抑制异戊二烯化具有治疗潜力,或可用于突触可塑性和阿尔兹海默′病的治疗。
