The USP Oligosaccharide System Suitability Mixture D RS comprises a combination of bi- and tri-antennary complex-type structures that have been sialylated, with one of the tri-antennary structures featuring an extra sialic acid. This mixture was derived from bovine fetuin via the action of PNGase F.

Application

Oligosaccharide System Suitability Mixture D reference standard for use in specified quality tests and assays.

Also used to prepare AB-labeled standard solutions for liquid chromatographic separation.

Additionally, used to separate sialylated bi- and tri-antennary complex N-linked Oligosaccharides with an additional sialic acid on one of the tri-antennary structures.
