Beta Glucan is a compound extracted from the cell wall of processed Baker's yeast. It contains mainly β-(1,3)/(1,6) branched glucan polymers with some amounts of β -(1,6)-glucan and chitin. [1]
Application
Also used to prepare standard solution during the identification and content determination of Beta Glucan using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy. [1]
