General description

P-I-A-N-O Mix to used determine retention times and indices and monitor response factors for components of complex mixtures of hydrocarbons. These standards are complex mixes of known quantities of hydrocarbons, accurately prepared by weight to three decimal places.

Application

P-I-A-N-O Mix may be used as an analytical standard for the identification and quantification of gaseous organic compounds emitted from biomass using two-dimensional gas chromatography coupled to time of flight mass spectrometry.
