General description

Diaion® HP-20SS is a porous polystyrene polymer resin with large pores and surface area which has high capacity to adsorb organic compounds. It is widely used as adsorbent. It differs in chromatographic behavior from that of C18 Sep-Paks, since it separates by size and has selectivity for aromatic compounds.

Application

  • Diaion® HP-20SS was used as column packing material for HPLC analysis.
  • Diaion® HP-20SS was used in purification using TLC.
Polyaromatic adsorbent for the separation of hydrophobic compounds and biomolecules from fermentation broths. this resin provides rapid kinetics for large molecules, works well in nonaqueous applications, and can be used for scale-up industrial fractionation of small biomolecules.

Other Notes

Swelling in toluene = 30%
