General description

The choice of coating material is based on the stationary phase of the GC. SP 1500 on carbopack B packing is basically graphitized carbon that has a nominal surface area of 100 m2/g modified with small amounts of petrolatum and polyethylene glycol compound.
Ready-to-use coated packing for those wanting to pack their own columns.

  9. What does the 80/120 stand for in the product description?

    The 80/120 refers to the mesh size range of the actual particles.  When working with mesh size: the larger the mesh number, the smaller the diameter of the particle.  In this case 80 refers to a diameter of 177 microns and 120 refers to a diameter of 125 microns.  Therefore; the particles in this product with 80/120 will range between 125 microns and 177 microns.
