Is product Z763780, BeadBug prefilled tubes (Benchmark Scientific product D1032-10) autoclaveable? If so do the caps need to be removed first?
The tubes can be autoclaved. It is recommended to loosen the caps if autoclaving. However, this product is certified to be nuclease and protease free and is filled in a sterile process that is tested to be free of stray DNA. Therefore, there is no reason to autoclave them. In fact, autoclaving may introduce contaminants.
