General description
For some cells, attachment is a problem as it may cause unwanted differentiation. Using the Low Cell Binding surface, cell attachment will be prevented.
The technology is based on a polymer presenting a phosphorylcholine moiety to the cells, thereby mimicking the surface of a cell membrane.
The surface is biologically inert and biocompatible.
Applications:
- Culture of cells in suspension
- Culture of cells in non-adherent cell clusters (spheroids)
- Measurement of soluble cell products (proteins, etc.)
