General description

“Nalgene” Oak Ridge high-speed polycarbonate centrifuge tubes offer outstanding mechanical strength, allowing for a wide range of applications. Additionally, their transparent nature facilitates easy observation of the contents in the tube.

Features and Benefits

  • Capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -135°C to +135°C (-211°F to +275°F).
  • Designed with a round bottom to accommodate high-speed rotors.
  • Suitable for use in both refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges.
  • Includes polypropylene linerless closures, which are easy to clean and provide leakproof protection under normal conditions up to 10,000 x g.
  • Autoclavable.

Other Notes

  • Polycarbonate centrifuge tubes will have their lifespan reduced with repeated autoclaving.
  • It is essential to fill the tubes to a minimum of 80% of their total capacity to ensure proper performance.
  • To achieve leakproof performance exceeding 10,000 x g, utilize a sealing cap or sealing cap assembly.
