General description

“Nalgene” Oak Ridge high-speed polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) centrifuge tubes offer broader chemical compatibility with lab reagents compared to polycarbonate centrifuge tubes.

Features and Benefits

  • Provides superior chemical resistance compared to polycarbonate tubes.
  • Autoclavable and can withstand repeated autoclaving, resulting in a longer lifespan than polycarbonate tubes subjected to the same conditions.
  • Includes polypropylene linerless closures, which are easy to clean and provide leakproof protection under normal conditions up to 10,000 x g.
  • Leakproof when used with the provided Nalgene closure.

Other Notes

Fill the tubes to a minimum of 80% capacity to ensure proper performance.
