Biochem/physiol Actions

ABC1183 is an orally active, potent and selective inhibitor of GSK3 α/β and CDK9, which induces G2/M cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells. Apparently ABC1183 suppresses tumor growth and inflammation-driven gastrointestinal disease symptoms due to down regulation of TNFα and IL-6 pro-inflammatory cytokines. It does not exhibit organ or hematological toxicities.
