TAM1 is an inhibitor of the thioesterase activity of Mycobacterium tuberculosis polyketide synthase Pks13. TAM1 binds to Pks13 TE domain. TAM1 exhibit a potent bactericidal activity against Mycobacterium Tuberculosis H37Rv strain.
