General description

Sephadex® G-25, Superfine is an often-cited gel filtration medium for desalting and buffer exchange. Sephadex® is prepared by crosslinking dextran with epichlorohydrin. Sephadex products differ in their degree of cross-linking and hence in their degree of swelling and their molecular fractionation range. “Superfine” indicates the smallest particle size available.

Application

Sephadex® G-25 is suitable for buffer exchange and desalting oligonucleotides for use in sequencing, PCR, and labeling applications. It was used to isolate two different peptides of Pronase E extracted from Alaska Pollack skin.

Features and Benefits

  • Excellent recovery
  • Minimal sample dilution
  • Quick and easy to use

Antibody-drug conjugates are an important class of cancer therapeutics. These agents generally bind a specific cell surface receptor, undergo receptor-mediated endocytosis, and enter the endosomal-lysosomal system, where the environment in these organelles facilitates the release of a membrane-permeable cytotoxin. Two GnRH isoforms (cGnRH-I and GnRH-II) and two GnRH receptor subtypes (cGnRH-R-I and cGnRH-R-III) occur in chickens. Differential roles for these molecules in regulating gonadotrophin secretion or other functions are unclear. To investigate this we cloned cGnRH-R-III from a broiler
