Biochem/physiol Actions
Interleukin 1 beta (IL-1β) is a proinflammatory cytokine, which is implicated in the induction of various acute and chronic inflammation. IL1B is considered as a potential therapeutic target for disease associated with fibrosis and tissue remodeling. Mutations in IL-1β gene are linked with renal manifestations and renal sequelae in Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP).
General description
This enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of a target protein in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine and/or cell and tissue lysates.
