Biochem/physiol Actions
Myoglobin is a hemoprotein that regulates the storage and diffusion of oxygen in heart and skeletal muscles. It also protects the tissues from oxidative damage by controlling the levels of reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide. Myoglobin modulates nitric oxide and oxygen levels in the mitochondrial compartments of skeletal muscle and cardiac cells.
General description
The MB ELISA kit provides for the Quantitative measurement of Myoglobin in Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum.

Sepsis-induced diaphragm dysfunction (SIDD) which is mainly characterized by decrease in diaphragmatic contractility has been identified to cause great harms to patients. Therefore, there is an important and pressing need to find effective treatments for improving SIDD. In addition, acetylcholinesterase

Hypercholesterolemia is a metabolic disorder associated with oxidative stress. The present study investigated the protective effect of Monolluma quadrangula extract on hypercholesterolemia-induced oxidative stress in the liver and heart of high-cholesterol-diet- (HCD-) fed rats. The experimental animals received HCD for
