General description
The human MMP-7 ELISA kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of human MMP-7 in cell culture supernatants. Matrix metalloproteinase-7 (MMP-7)/matrilysin is a small proteolytic enzyme. It secretes zinc- and calcium-dependent endopeptidase. It is expressed in normal endometrial, bronchial, ductal, skin glandular epithelial, urogenital, and gastrointestinal tissues. MMP-7 plays a key role in cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and apoptosis. Elevated expression of MMP-7 is seen in several cancers, such as esophageal, gastric, gallbladder, pancreatic, colorectal, bladder, ovarian, breast, lung, and melanoma.
Immunogen
Recombinant Human MMP7
Application
Human MMP-7 ELISA Kit has been used in ELISA to measure the recovery of the cancer biomarkers/MMP-7 in isothermally vitrified samples. It has also been used in ELISA to determine MMP7 concentrations in multiple myeloma (MM) cell culture supernatants.

The immediate tissue microenvironment of implanted biomedical devices and engineered tissues is highly influential on their long term fate and efficacy. The creation of a long-term anti-inflammatory microenvironment around implants and artificial tissues can facilitate their integration. Macrophages are highly

Extracellular matrix-degrading proteinases are upregulated in atherosclerotic lesions and can contribute to subsequent pathological events. In the present nested case-control study, we investigated the association of serum concentrations of matrix metalloproteinases MMP-7, MMP-8, and MMP-13, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1)
