General description

Human GDF-15 / MIC-1 ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of a target protein in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine and/or cell and tissue lysates. Growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) is a cytokine for stress-response. It elevates during an inflammatory response and tissue injury. GDF-15 is also associated with cardiometabolic risk. It is localized in the adipocytes, macrophages, cardiomyocytes and vascular smooth muscle cells.

Immunogen

Recombinant Human GDF15

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
Human GDF-15 / MIC-1ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) kit has been used in the quantification of circulating macrophage inhibitory cytokine-1 (MIC-1) in venous blood samples.
