Gene Information
human ... EGFR(1965)
General description
Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a member of the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) family. It is a single-chain transmembrane glycoprotein. EGFR comprises an extracellular ligand-binding ectodomain, a short juxtamembrane section, a transmembrane domain, a tyrosine kinase domain, tyrosine-containing C-terminal tail. Overexpression of EGFR is observed in breast cancer cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant Human EGFR
Application
Human EGFR / ErbB1 ELISA Kit has been used in the estimation of epidermal growth factor receptors (EGFR) from human epithelial cells. It has also been used in the detection of EGFR from patient plasma/serum and exosomes isolated from human prostate cancer cells LNCaP xenografts.

We have previously described the association of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) prevalence and two epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) SNPs (rs17337023 and rs2227983) among the Taiwanese population. This present study aimed to elucidate whether the SNPs can alter the expression of

Stemness and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) are two fundamental characteristics of metastasis that are controlled by diverse regulatory factors, including transcription factors. Compared with other subtypes of breast cancer, basal-type or triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) has high frequencies of tumor relapse.

High expression or aberrant activation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is related to tumor progression and therapy resistance across cancer types, including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) are first-line therapy for NSCLC. However, patients
