General description

The Mouse ACE (Angiotensin-Converting Enzyme) ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of mouse ACE in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants and urine.

Immunogen

Recombinant Mouse ACE

Application

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
Please refer to the attached General ELISA KIT Procedure (sandwich, competitive & Indirect ELISA)
Mouse ACE ELISA Kit has been used to quantify total serum concentration of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) in spontaneously hypertensive rats.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) catalyzes the formation of angiotensin II from angiotensin I. ACE is a key aminopeptidase of the renin-angiotensin system. It is a membrane-bound enzyme which is expressed in atherosclerotic lesions.
