General description
Z-DNA binding protein 1 (ZBP1), also known as interferon (IFN) γ-inducible gene, is a cytoplasmic DNA sensor. It belongs to the family of Z-DNA binding proteins. ZBP1 is majorly expressed in the small intestine and lymphatic tissues. The gene is located on human chromosome 20q13.3.
Immunogen
a 18 amino acid peptide from near the carboxy-terminus of human ZBP1.
Application
Anti-ZBP1 antibody produced in rabbit has been used for western blotting.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Z-DNA binding protein 1 (ZBP1) plays a major role in DNA mediated innate immune responses. It enhances nuclear factor k-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NFκB) activation and proinflammatory cytokine production.
Physical form
Solution in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.02% sodium azide
Other Notes
The action of this antibody can be blocked using blocking peptide SBP4401.

Human adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hAD-MSCs) are mesenchymal stem cells with the capability to modulate immune responses. Evidence showing that hAD-MSCs could mediate innate immune responses through pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) is increasing. However, the roles of PRRs in regulating

DDX41 is a sensor of intracellular double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) in myeloid dendritic cells (mDCs) that triggers a type I interferon response via the signaling adaptor STING. We identified the E3 ligase TRIM21 as a DDX41-interacting protein and found that knockdown
