Product No. P4458 is not simply penicillin and streptomycin dissolved in water; it is made in a proprietary buffer.
What is the concentration of the P4458 Penicillin-Streptomycin solution? For example, is it a 50X or 100X?
Product No. P4458 is designed to be added directly to media; you should add 20mL to 1L of medium. There is no intermediate dilution step. So the concentration 50X refers to the 50X dilution into media to the final working concentration.
