How should I dissolve and store Product P2714, Protease Inhibitor Cocktail?
You can dissolve the product in 10 ml of water to make a 10X stock solution and then dilute 1:10 for use. Aliquots can be stored at -20 C for 1 month.
How much of Product P2714, Protease Inhibitor Cocktail, should I use with serum?
Dilute the contents of the vial in 10 mL of water, yielding a 10X initial concentration . Then dilute the stock 1:10 in the serum (1 part of inhibitor solution to 10 parts of serum). This would be a 1:100 dilution (containing the concentrations of each inhibitor as listed on the data sheet) in the serum. This is true for most cell lysates, serum, and culture media.
