Poly(D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) is a synthetic amino acid that has been used to deliver macromolecular therapeutics.

General description

The product is an amorphous solid with a transition temperature (Tg) in the range of 45-50°C. It is soluble in most organic solvents such as methylene chloride, tetrahydrofuran, ethyl acetate, acetone, chloroform, and hexafluoroispropanol.
