DEAE Sephacel is a weak anion exchanger based on beaded cellulose. DEAE Sephacel is part of the Cytiva range of resins.BioProcess™ chromatography resins are developed andsupported for production scale chromatography. BioProcessresins are produced with validated methods and are tested tomeet manufacturing requirements.
Features and Benefits
- DEAE Sephacel is supplied preswollen in 20% ethanol.
- Prepare a slurry by decanting the 20% ethanol solution andreplace it with starting buffer in a ratio of 75% settled resin to25% buffer.
- The starting buffer must not contain agents whichsignificantly increase the viscosity.
- The column can beequilibrated with viscous buffers at reduced flow rates afterpacking is completed.
