General description

Deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) are substrates for DNA polymerizing enzymes and are the essential building blocks of nucleic acid molecules.[1] It aids in the synthesis of copies of the target DNA by providing each of the four bases (dATP, dGTP, dCTP, dTTP).(2) dNTP is a key component of PCR master mixes as it is necessary for DNA amplification reaction.

Application

Deoxynucleotide Set, 10 mM has been used in:
  • polymerase chain reaction (PCR)[2][3][4]
  • nested PCR[2]
  • DNA repair[2]
  • the preparation of DNA-duplex[5]
