General description

For more information on other Sigmatrix products visit the Sigmatrix Selection Guide.
SigMatrix is a serum diluent that utilizes recombinant human albumin as the source of the albumin blocking reagent. The use of human albumin expressed in rice can eliminate the source of interfering analytes typically found in human and bovine-derived diluents. Many commercially-available diluents rely on charcoal-stripping which often only results in limited reduction of interfering analytes.

Suitability

Recommended for use in ELISA and LC-MS-based diagnostic applications.

Physical form

SigMatrix Serum Diluent is an aqueous solution containing 2% recombinant human albumin (expressed in rice) in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) with 0.1% ProClin 950.
