Chondroitinase ABC is a lyase with a reported molecular weight of approximately 120 kDa by gel filtration and is composed of two subunits with molecular weights of 86 and 32.
What is the composition of Product No. C2905?
This product consists of approximately 35% protein as determined by the Biuret method. BSA (bovine serum albumin) is a major component (~90%) of the protein. The remaining 65% is Tris buffer salts.
How should Product No. C2905 be reconstituted?
Reconstitute the product in a 0.01% bovine serum albumin aqueous solution. Subsequent dilutions can be made into a buffer containing 50 mM Tris, pH 8.0, with 60 mM sodium acetate and 0.02% bovine serum albumin. Solutions should be prepared fresh.
