General description

Highly cationic glycoprotein that can selectively bind to a component in human and rodent mast cell granules in fixed-cell preparations, and can be used to identify mast cells in normal and diseased human tissue without requiring a biotinylated probe.

Application

Avidin-Sulforhodamine 101 (Avidin-Texas Red®) has been used for studying the printing of organic nanomaterials using electrospray ionization and Coulomb-force-directed assembly techniques. The product has also been used for microcontact printing studies.
Avidin-conjugated Texas red was used to visualize biotinylated centromeric DNA in a FISHI assay.

Plant immune responses need to be tightly controlled for growth-defense balance. The mechanism underlying this tight control is not fully understood. Here we identify epigenetic regulation of nucleotide-binding leucine rich repeat or Nod-Like Receptor (NLR) genes as an important mechanism

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
