λex 648 nm; λem 670 nm in PBS (0.1 M)

suitability

suitable for fluorescence

storage temp.

2-8°C

Components

This kit contains sufficient amounts of reactive dye, buffers, and protein purification sets for performing five labeling reactions (1 mg protein each) and for the subsequent purification of the labeled protein.

Other Notes

Tracy 652 is a NIR fluorescent dye that is highly water-soluble and stable. The spectral range above 650 nm is of particular interest in biology analysis and imaging due to the reduced background and improved sensitivity.

  5. In what buffers can I prepare my protein for labeling with Tracy dye?

We recommend Sodium Bicarbonate buffer, pH 9.5, when working with Tracy  Products 91471 and 75824, but it is necessary to avoid the use of buffers or solvents that contain amine groups, e.g. tris or ammonium ions.

  6. What ratio of dye to protein for antibodies labled with Tracy Products 91471 and 75824 show the maximum fluorescence intensity?

A dye to protein ratio of 4:1 produces maximum fluorescence intensity.
