Application

Na-carbonate (carb-bicarb) buffer for use in protein and antibody coating procedures. Intended applications include use as a coating buffer for protein-coating procedures on microtiter plates and plastic tubes for radioimmunoassay (RIA) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA) techniques.

Physical form

Product is a preformulated powder to be dissolved for use. Prepare the Single Use Disposable Solution (SUDS) by dissolving the powder in 1L of purified water for a 1× working solution of 0.05 M sodium carbonate-bicarbonate buffer with pH 9.6 at 25 °C. Approximately 70:30 bicarb:carb ratio.
