Application

This SRM 937 is intended for use as an assay standard for iron. It is primarily used for the calibration of instrumentation and standardization of procedures and for the routine evaluation of daily working standards used in these procedures.

General description

This certified standard reference material (SRM) consists of electrolytic grade iron and is a material of known purity. A unit of NIST SRM 937 consists of 50 g of iron metal in the form of chips sized between 0.5 mm and 1.8 mm mesh. For more information, please refer to the COA and SDS.
