Application
Vanadium (V) standard solution SRM is intended for use as the primary calibration standard for vanadium quantification.
Features and Benefits
- Available with a certificate documenting NIST-certified mass fraction value of vanadium obtained through two methods:
- Gravimetric preparation using high-purity vanadium metal.
- Inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES).
- The certified value is metrologically traceable to the derived SI unit for mass fraction, expressed as milligrams pergram.
- The NIST certificate is provided with expiration certificate, storage, handling, use and maintenance instructions.
General description
Each unit of the SRM contains five sealed borosilicate glass ampoules, each consisting of 10 mL of an acidified aqueous solution. This solution is prepared through gravimetric methods to ensure a precise mass fraction of vanadium.
